This turbo heat shield can shroud a completely stock turbo and exhaust system or can go hand-in-hand with an aftermarket downpipe install, without the necessary trimming that the stock heat shield requires. The COBB SS Heat Shield prevents waste-heat from the turbocharger and exhaust system from radiating into your engine bay, reducing intake and intercooler heat soak and lowering under-hood temperature. The Heat Shield is constructed of rugged stainless steel and features a laser-etched COBB logo. The heat shield is easy to install, requiring only basic hand tools for installation.
