Description Monte BlancoThe story of the Puntí family; the maker of Monte Blanco wines dates back to 1953 when Mr. Jaime Puntí Desveus, from Manresa, in Catalunya Spain, arrived to Chile. For over 50 years, the family has been dedicated to the art of vine cultivation and production of quality wines in the valley of Cachapoal, specifically in the mountain zone of the city of Rengo.The youngest son, Antonio Puntí Ferrer has continued with this tradition, dedicated to the wine production and the sale of quality wines abroad for over 12 years. Cachapoal Valley is the home of their vineyards, which grow varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenere, Syrah and Sauvignon Blanc, which give life to their most treasured wines.All grapes are carefully selected by winemaker and managed to ensure the best quality of their product lines of wines. The winery has been thought and designed to produce and store high quality wines. The total capacity to date is 1.400.000 liters in stainless steel containers, on a surface of 750 square meters.
